The Dekike Tsion family donated more than 150 winter coats, along with jackets, hats, gloves, scarves, and other essential winter clothing, to support individuals in need through the Fairfax County Hunter Mill District Office, in partnership with Embry Rucker Homeless Shelter.

This outreach was carried out in obedience to Christ’s teaching in the Gospel of Matthew 25:36, “I was naked and you clothed me,” and reflects the heart of the Gospel call to love our neighbors in action. As followers of Christ, we are reminded that serving the poor and the vulnerable is an expression of serving the Lord Himself. Through this act of giving, we sought to share the warmth of Christ’s love, bringing hope, dignity, and comfort to those facing the harshness of winter.

May this offering stand as a testimony of faith in action—demonstrating God’s compassion through generosity, unity, and sacrificial love for those in need.
